Precious moment
They are sitting on the back porch eating popsicles.
Enjoying the morning sun.
The quiet solitude of the mountain in the distance.
And the precious moment of togetherness.
I am watching them and their camaraderie.
Knowing at any moment it could break out into a fight.
For now though, it is a precious moment.
I'm cherishing it.
