A little dirt won't hurt....

Fenix's baby blessing

We blessed Fenix this last weekend while everyone was still in town, except sadly Christine and her family and Daniel and Kealy. We sure missed you. As for everyone else that made it we were so happy to have you all there to share in this milestone of our daughters life. Church started at 8:30AM and it was a decently long drive for everyone, thanks everyone for getting up early instead of sleeping in. And Charity, it was really fun staying up till, what was it, 2:00 in the morning just talking and laughing, that was really fun :D So thanks for entertaining me while I did the dishes and cleaned up to be ready for Sunday.
The blessing went wonderfully as it should and we had many priesthood holders there to help with it. Thanks to those who did, we really apprieciate it.
After the blessing we all met at my house for brunch.
It was so nice to have everyone together.
Below are pictures of everyone at our house. Finally a bunch with me in them, sadly at a time when I had zero time to fix my hair :( Its ok though the focus is on my daughter, right :D
enjoy :)
My Beautiful Baby Girl, unfortunatley this is the best picture I currently have of her by herself in her blessing dress (which happens to be the dress I wore for my own baby blessing) I will be sure to post a better one sometime in the near future.

And Bear says....

So Phillip has an Uncle Mike on his Dad's side of the family
I have an Uncle Mike and two brother-in-laws, with sons named Mike and a cousin named Mike on my side of the family...
Phil and Bear are sitting in Sacrament meeting on Sunday, it was a mission farewell so a lot of Phil's family were there.
Phil points out his Uncle Mike to Bear and says basically that that is his uncle and then he tells Bear that his name is Mike.
Bear says, "What the heck, we have like a hundred of Mikes in our family!"
Lol! Gotta love it! :D

Happy Birthday Joseph!!!

While my sister Charity and her family were in town we had a big huge birthday party for her son Joseph. Everyone who happened to be in town or lived nearby was there (at least family that is). Now, personally, I love to get together with the fam. I know a lot of people dread such occasions. I can sorta see why, but that isn't the point. The point was to get together while we could and celebrate a cute little boy's birthday. It was a whole lot of fun to see everybody! The kids had a blast playing together, too bad my Mom doesn't have her huge yard finished yet, because those kids could have really used some room for running :D

Mini-golf Party

We were invited to Taylor's birthday party!!! We all met at cascade to do some Miniature Golf. It was great and the boys had a blast! It was so fun to get together. We miss Taylor and Jason and Becca so much!!!
When we finished golfing we met at some picnic tables for cake and presents. The kids got party hats and looked adorable wearing them. We really had so much fun, I can't wait till next time....

Owlz baseball game

So Phil got some really cheap tickets, that included a free hot dog and drink, to the Owlz game. It sounded like fun so we went. The boys loved it! We sat on a hillside instead of the seats because it was less expensive and the kids could run around and play. It wasn't very comfortable the hill was pretty steep. I had a hard time not sliding down the hill. Lol!
Apparently all of the kids go with their mitts in case a foul ball comes their way. I sat there the whole game praying we wouldn't get hit by one. Well we didn't, but one ball landed just inside the concrete barrier, one of the pitchers in the bull pen (I think that is what they call it) brought it over to toss to the crowd of twenty plus kids that stood there crying for him to throw it to them. Well this guy walked right past all of them and motioned for Bear to "com'ere". He handed that ball straight to Bear! Bear was so excited!

Here we are sitting on the hill, you can see how steep it is.

I think Lyon is pretending to throw a ball to Stephanie,
but I could be wrong.

Bear playing with his baseball. He would stand at the bottom of the hill and roll his ball up so it would roll back down to him.

Just watching
